A central figure within electronic music for over two decades, DIRTYBIRD co-founder and Anabatic Records head Mz Worthy continues to push the boundaries of house music. Combining with the likes of Eats Everything and Kevin Knapp while releasing via Defected, Exploited, and DIRTYBIRD, her energetic sound has welcomed sets at the likes of Coachella, Burning Man and Ultra, to name just a few. Now exploring a new chapter in her journey, Mz Worthy’s position as a light for LGBTQIA+ artists across the scene continues to blossom as she makes her very first outing on the consistently excellent HE.SHE.THEY. to reveal her latest three-track offering, ‘Here I Come’.

“The ‘Here I Come’ EP is a journey through different styles I love to create. ‘Here I Come’ was one of the first songs I finished as I was becoming more comfortable with myself and features a full-on diva vocal by L.A.C. You better roll out the red carpet because here comes Mz Worthy.” – Mz Worthy

‘Here I Come’ welcomes a rough and ready slice of house music as L.A.C.’s infectious vocals merge with tough kicks, harsh metallic tones and rumbling low ends to showcase a high-octane journey for the peak-time hours. Next, ‘Can You Tell Me’ switches things up as chuggy basslines and sleazy melodies ebb and flow beneath further vocal work before closing proceedings via the anthemic and cinematic soundscapes of the emotive ‘White Wash’.

Mz Worthy ‘Here I Come’ is out now on HE.SHE.THEY, with the EP set to follow on 1st April 2022 – buy HERE.

On January 25, 2023, Mz Worthy will continue her emergence via a face feminization surgery that she’s currently raising funds for – support HERE.
