Canadian label Moonlight Records pick up the pace in the tail end of 2020, ready to propel themselves in to a strong 2021 with a slew of seriously strong releases in the pipeline from new artists on the label and old. This October we have a fine body of work featuring two originals from Funk D’Void & Berny, featuring a healthy package of remixes from SageThaCat, Topology, Orlando Voorn, Andrew Macari, Joe Silva, and Monsieur Wolfgang.
The “Junkies/Voyager” release is set to make a mark this winter despite the current clubbing situation, something to help party goers unwind and forget their worries whether on a dance floor or in their living room, there is something in the water here that is set to make you move.
A fantastic display from all, spanning across of spectrum of sounds, some feel good energy, four by four house, and certainly some others on a discerning tip. The label have been stimulating top shelf releases for many years, and seems things continue to the rise for the label. Last year saw double EP’s from veteran producer, Orlando Voorn, known for his extensive back catalogue under various monikers. Some other names you might be aware of under the Moonlight umbrella are fellow Canadian, Rennie Foster, and SageThaCat who delivered an awesome release called “Work”.
