THE ARTIST’S FIRST FULL-LENGTH EP FEATURES SIX ALL-ORIGINAL TRACKS INCLUDING ‘PHLEGM’, ‘GROWING PAINS’, ‘DAY DREAMS’, ‘MISUNDERSTOOD’, ‘PULL ME BACK’, AND ‘TREE RINGS’

Mindchatter, the widely acclaimed artist project of singer, songwriter, and producer Bryce Connolly, is poised to make waves across the electronic music scene with the release of his latest EP, Spiritual Puberty on September 29th. The EP is a flawless insight into Connolly’s journey to self-realization with his staple sound & vocals gracing each of the tracks in a masterful project that is sure to connect with the hearts of many. The six-track EP will be released via Foreign Family Collective, the renowned label imprint founded by electronic luminaries ODESZA.

Recently welcomed into the Foreign Family Collective fold, Mindchatter has already carved out a unique niche in the music world with his unique sound, lyricism, and production. Known for his ability to blend introspective and thought-provoking lyrics with live keys, mallets, and masterful synth patterns, Connolly’s music resonates with audiences seeking a deeper, more meaningful experience on the dance floor.

The EP opens up with the enlightening, synth-fueled track ‘Growing Pains’– which touches upon how “I hope your pain is the good kind” while stepping into one’s individuality. The project moves into the already-successful and upbeat ‘Day Dreams’, which was released last month, and into ‘Misunderstood’– the emotional, yet powerful song that slows things down with a message about letting go and learning to heal. Mindchatter’s latest dance-fueled single, ‘Pull Me Back’ follows up shortly after, with ‘Tree Rings’, a percussion-fueled love song, occurring thereafter. The insightful project wraps up with ‘Phlegm’– which perfectly vocalizes the mission of the Spiritual Puberty project as a whole. A beautiful glimpse into Connolly’s journey to self-acceptance, the lyrics state, “I don’t know much but I know myself” with an elegant, yet stripped-down piano melody bringing the EP to a harmonious close.

Spiritual Puberty marks a significant milestone in Mindchatter’s career, encapsulating Connolly’s quarter-life coming-of-age journey toward personal fulfillment in a world often characterized by sensory overload. As he describes it, “Simply put, Spiritual Puberty is about growing up. I guess becoming an adult is realizing you are NOT going to hook up with every person, read every book, try every food, master every instrument, learn every language, live in Europe, call everyone you need to call back, right everyone you wronged, or even overcome (like truly overcome) every single one of your fears. It’s about respecting time and taking your place in it.”

ODESZA, the successful duo behind Foreign Family Collective, expressed excitement about Mindchatter’s inclusion in the label’s roster. “We’ve been big fans of Mindchatter over the past couple of years and are excited to have him join Foreign Family,” they commented. “He does an incredible job of blending his impressive vocal work and meticulous production in his new music. We look forward to seeing what this next chapter holds for the Mindchatter project.”

Aside from his masterful production, Mindchatter is known for his incredible live sets that feature his talent on keys, sample pads, mallets, and of course, his signature vocals. His all-encapsulating performances also have a unique visual component that has landed him bookings at Lightning in a Bottle, Okeechobee, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Life is Beautiful, CRSSD Festival, and The DoLab at Coachella. Similarly, he has joined major artists on tour such as Polo & Pan and SG Lewis, with his own further headline shows on the horizon. Mindchatter’s Spiritual Puberty EP promises to be a captivating journey of self-discovery and musical innovation, further solidifying his reputation as a groundbreaking artist and sought-after producer in the electronic music landscape today.
