Touching down on Sonny Fodera’s label Solotoko for his latest release, Spanish DJ/producer Miguel Bastida shows us exactly why he’s one of the most in-demand artists in the tech house scene. Fresh off the success of his Benasty EP on Solardo’s Sola imprint, Miguel rolls out hardy new offering Dona EP to further solidify his glowing reputation as of late.

Dona EP is a flavoursome blend beats and basslines, featuring a hearty dash of Miguel’s tactful sample work. Keeping his drum work precise, yet gratifyingly hard-hitting, Miguel drives forward an infectious mix of elements. As familiar as it is refreshing, Dona EP is built for the underground circuit and does not disappoint.

Producing from a young age, Miguel Bastida’s early intuitions when it came to music paved the way for his flourishing career as a DJ/producer. Now, he’s blazing up dancefloors all over and is capturing the acclaim of even the most critical house heads.

Dona EP is available from 20th April via Solotoko.

We caught up with Miguel for a quick interview about the track and his summer plans, check what he had to say below!
