Motek welcomes back Max Belobrov to the label. Having put out the very first Motek Music release ‘Wanna Dance’, Max has created a stunning new EP, showing his full range of talent across the underground House genres. This EP includes three tracks, all dark in nature and crisply produced. The title track ‘Metamorphosis’ is a wide and spacious production, filled with classic analogue sounds and textures on top of a broken beat drum arrangement. ‘Peace For Crowd’ takes more of a typical ‘Tech’ feel, grooved based and choppy, accented in the sharp stabs. The track is finished with a standout spoken vocal feature. The final piece in this EP is full on. ‘Space Tape’ is driving and bold with a relentless feel created by the bass and rise/fall rhythmic synth section. Again as with Peace For Crowd, a vocal part adds the final touch, this time eery and crazed in nature.
