Lucky Charmz has been behind some big beats in recent times. His records have sold out in quick fashion and now his new one on Moody Records is sure to be the same. It features five cuts of varied and vital house that makes you feel good.

Ola do Mar is first and gets things going with some groovy house kicks that really skip. The lo-fi feel is fresh and authentic and then Sweepy Hollow gets more loose and playful, with skittish hi hats jumping about as rolling snares, shooting synths and thundering claps all get cobbled together into a perfectly freeform groove. Things get deep and romantic with the piano laced house licks of tender cut Got Away Clean ft Peach Orbit, then Soul Chop with Wenzel Dashington is a laid back summery number with blissful guitar riffs and broken beat and nu soul feels. Last of all, Deep Dive is another inventive offering with weird vocals, gentle synth lines and beatdown grooves that really lull you into a nice laid back mood. This is a fantastic EP that is sure to get plenty of love this summer.
