Kicking off the year with a banging Lovecast from Jojo Angel!
George Angelou, better know as Jojo Angel is a DJ/Music Producer and Label Manager from Thessaloniki, Greece. In the mid 00s, Jojo started his professional career as a DJ and since then he has appearances at the biggest festivals of Greece – Reworks & Halkidiki Adventure – but also at some important venues in the U.K. including Egg London, Lightbox London, 93 Feet East, Envy Club Portsmouth & The Spot Manchester amongst others.
Jojo Angel stepped into music production in 2014, already counting numerous releases on respected record labels including Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars, Green Velvet’s Relief, Steve Lawler’s Viva Music, Tube & Burger and Juliet Sikora’s Kittball, Kerri Chandler’s MadTech and Cr2 Records to name a few. In 2019 he released his official remixes for Kerri Chandler and Tuccillo & Kiko Navarro, while in the same year he has been named as No.20 Tech House artist of the year on Traxsource.
In 2016 Jojo was invited by Matteo Rosolare to join Daylight Robbery Records. Under his management, Daylight Robbery Records made some big steps forward being named as one of the Top 40 Labels for two years in a row. Jojo’s latest achievement is Techords Ltd, his brand-new record label which was established in 2020 and has already gained support by Roger Sanchez, Jamie Jones, James Zabiela, Solardo, Hot Since 82, Steve Lawler, Eli & Fur and many more.
