LaNesra relaunches South Side Recordings with brand new material for 2020. Opening the label account are ‘I’ll B Good’ and ‘Shorty’. Uplifting and positive it’s a shot in the arm for the House scene with more than a nod to the golden days of the ’90s brought bang up to date.
Bass heavy garage groover ‘I’ll B Good’ takes the lead. Sparse, shuffling percussion and a huge low end provide the backbone for the diva vocals. ‘Shorty’ takes the baton in full flight. Bassline-led, the vocals are more emotive and thoughtful. A great start for a cherished slice of UK dance music history reborn.
