Last year John Monkman delivered a spectacular EP, ‘Follow Me feat. Liz Cass’, now just in time for summer we bring you the remix EP with the work of Tiefschwarz, ONNO and Israel Vich. Tiefschwarz is up first with a remix of a lighter tone, utilizing vocal lines and rhythmic synths together with a hustling percussion to create a breezy ambiance. ONNO takes this a bit deeper, with a heavy kick and teasing percussion right from the start. From there he takes us through his late night version, full of energy for the hungry dance floor. We always save the best for last right? Israel Vich gives us exactly what we want – dirty bass lines and crunchy beats. He gives the track yet another definition, maintaining a constant energy throughout. Very well executed, and a worthy addition to this already outstanding EP.
