German melodic master Goeran Meyer is back on his own label MYR with yet another superb single. This one comes with a remix from Paris based Hanna Haïs.
First up is Could Not Exist, a spine tingling single with nice deep drums. The chords roll up top and the crunchy claps add bite. It is the deft synth patterns and wispy melodies that really lodge it deep in your brain though. Could Not Exist (Hanna Haïs Remix) is then more out there, with spilling synths adding layers of intensity over the textured tech drums. Add in an instrumental and all bases are covered.
Electronic music this meaningful doesn’t come along this often.
