The 70th Episode of our Fresh Faces series comes from UK-based Mij Mack!

Hailing from Cheltenham, the music of electronic producer Mij Mack crosses a variety of genres. Previously releasing on labels such as Black Butter, Kenja Records and Audiophile Deep, his music incorporates elements of bass, house, techno and broken beat, and has been supported by huge range of A-list artists including Maja Jane Coles, Erick Morillo, Pirupa, DJ Zinc and Marco Carola.

Calling to mind the warm textures and emotional richness of producers like Session Victim and Moomin, I Can Go is built around evocative vocal samples and beautiful, sweeping strings: a wonderful, rewarding example of deep house done right.

I Can Go is the first single from Mij Mack’s forthcoming debut album Elysium. Comprising 10 brand new original productions, Elysium is rooted in Mij Mack’s strong focus on soaring melodies, warm, hazy textures and intricate rhythms.

Elysium will be released September 2020 on Sound Upstairs.
