Following its inclusion earlier in the year on John Digweed’s acclaimed ‘Quattro II’ compilation, Dino Lenny’s ‘Sweet Paranoia’ receives a rework courtesy of celebrated German duo Frankey & Sandrino. Having chartered releases via some of the circuit’s most influential electronic music houses across their decade-long partnership, the pair now mark their debut contribution to Digweed’s venerated Bedrock Records. Frankey & Sandrino’s ‘Sweet Paranoia’ remix is out now across all streaming platforms, including Bedrock’s Bandcamp store: https://bedrockrecords.bandcamp.com/

Stripping the original of its soothing vocal piece, Frankey & Sandrino reveal a hypnotic groove that’s emphasized by their flawless pitch-bending synth-work. The effect is dark and alluring, leading the listener towards a rapturous distortion as it hits its peak in the main drop. The pair stay true to the measured indie rhythms in that of its counterpart, playing with atmospheric soundscapes and obscure sound design elements to create a remix that presents an entirely new personality and motive.
