An alluring story of inspiration from their LA Laurel Canyon hometown, Follow the Dark merges two worlds previously explored in their seminal, number 1 electronic album, Found In the Wild. It tells an enchanting story of the dark and light found within the mysteries of the Laurel Canyon – a place that can make one feel so alone yet so at peace. Instead of being polar opposites, Eli & Fur recognize how the light and dark compliment each other. While there can be comfort in darkness from hiding in the shadows and being alone on your bed unable to sleep, there is lightness in finding the flowing expression and beauty in those moments of being in that mystical world before it becomes cooked into any other form. At that moment, it becomes pure inspiration and Follow the Dark Part II continues to tell that unspoken story.

Following the recent release of their celestial EP Follow the Dark – Part I, Eli & Fur continue the saga as the final chapter of the two part Follow the Dark EP series drops on May 30th via Anjunadeep. Continuing the warm yet chilling story of the light and darkness that come with the journey of love, Eli & Fur’s impressive talent of blending together upbeat grooves with mysterious and enticing vocals outwardly presents itself on Follow the Dark – Part II.

Kicking off the EP, Better in the Dark, which was previously released as a single, is a dark, galactic groove with flowing, melodic vocals and rich, dreamy layers. Moving into the next song, Last Train flows through a wave of lyrically inspiring sounds which shimmer through a celestial, electronic beat. After the next song Where Do We Go From Here, the The EP also features an exceptional edit of Skyway, their debut release on Cercle Records, which was accompanied by a stunning live stream from Italy’s highest peak Monte Bianco back in the summer of 2022.

Reflecting on the EP, Eli & Fur state that “part two of “Follow The Dark” is another four tracks we wanted to share with the world. This EP has really just been both of us in the studio, creating tracks without a plan or structure, just the two of us expressing ourselves, like how this whole project started out. All with vocals that tell a story and come from the heart. A mix of club moments and more dream-like, lose yourself moments. This is a collection of music we have loved making and that feels true to us.”

Eli & Fur have a natural knack for producing standout tracks and writing catchy yet sincere lyrics. Adding a signature eerie twist to classic techno beats, the duo has climbed the ranks and have worked with multiple industry heavyweights including Camelphat, Meduza, and Disciples. They’ve had killer performances at some of the world’s most renowned music festivals including Creamfields, Printworks, Glastonbury, EDC, and Coachella and have picked up a plethora of accolades including DJ Mag’s ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ and the ‘Best Producer’ title at the Bass Music Awards.
