The first artist EP from Masterworks Music has finally made contact with planet earth and comes from the boogie doctor who can do no wrong when it comes to remixing classic jams. Greg Packer has been on our radar since he started doing his solo edits in early 2013 under the name Dr. Packer, and is a true master of the craft. We’re happy to say he’s held nothing back for his EP on 80s Child’s new Masterworks label.
The name on the package says it all. The release features five boogie grinding goodies, with the surgeon doing scalpel work on gems like Magic (Circle City Band) and Walking On Sunshine (Rockers Revenge). The fresh label is off to a stellar beginning with their first compilation Masterworks Music Vol.1 riding the number one spot in the Juno album charts, and forthcoming releases from rising stars like Kiu D and Coutel.
