Out now via her imprint Danger Den Records, the progressive anthem marks Foley’s first official release, showcasing her signature “conscious house” sound.

Denver-based DJ, producer, and wellness advocate Danger Foley makes her highly anticipated production debut with ‘Season of the Sun’, a radiant collaboration with house music legend Roland Clark. Out June 20th via Foley’s imprint Danger Den Records, the single introduces a new subgenre she calls “conscious house”– a sound rooted in joy, mental clarity, and emotional elevation.

Equal parts dancefloor-ready and spiritually uplifting, ‘Season of the Sun’ merges Clark’s iconic spoken word with Foley’s progressive house production, infused with melodic swells, grounding basslines, and vibrant synths. The result is a summer anthem that moves both body and mind. On the release, Roland Clark shares, “The first time I saw Allison (Danger), she just looked interesting. We basically started trading life stories about relationships, and where we were from and the kind of music we liked. I’m a firm believer in past lives, so I think maybe I knew her in my past life.

As the days progressed, we just kind of started hanging out. Eventually I guess the subject wound up on music [production]. She’s a very peaceful type of person, a very zen type person, the opposite of me, and I thought that was a very interesting contrast. When she told me what she wanted [in terms of a collaboration], I kind of knew exactly what to do. And while it was fresh in my head, I went back to my room and said ‘let me write this thing now’. And I wrote it, and thank god it was exactly what she wanted – that’s how we met and that’s how we wound up working together. The rest was Allison and Roland magic. When I hear  “Season of the Sun”, I envision it being played at Mambo Cafe Ibiza at sunset. That’s where I came up with the first lyric. I never saw a sunset like that. At the moment of me writing it.”

This release marks the beginning of an ambitious year for the breakout producer, who plans to unveil six original tracks in 2025. Her music reflects a broader mission to reimagine the role of the DJ– one that nurtures personal growth, community connection, and artist sustainability. A neuroscience graduate and former creative mentor, Danger Foley blends her academic background with dance music to pioneer a new standard of care for the scene.

As the founder of The Danger Den, Foley has cultivated a unique ecosystem that extends beyond the club. What began as a Denver-based artist retreat has grown into a mobile wellness platform offering cold plunges, guided meditations, studio sessions, and immersive activations at events like Miami Music Week and SXSW. The Den also features a podcast where Foley spotlights the mental health journeys of creative peers; recent guests include Maddy O’Neal, Goldfish, and Frameworks.

With past performances at the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks, The Surf Lodge, On the Rocks in Italy, as well as support slots alongside SIDEPIECE and LP Giobbi, Foley is no stranger to major stages. But her commitment to transforming those stages into spaces for healing is what sets her apart- whether behind the decks or facilitating artist retreats, she is building a new vision for what it means to thrive as a performer in today’s dance music landscape. Her recent appearance on LP Giobbi’s Femme House Radio on SiriusXM Electro also featured an hour-long guest mix of her unreleased “conscious house” tracks.

‘Season of the Sun’ not only signals a bold debut for Danger Foley, but also marks a new chapter for dance music itself. As conversations around artist well-being and intentionality continue to gain momentum, the wellness pioneer emerges as a guiding light– a creator who doesn’t just play for the crowd, but holds space for collective renewal. With her unique blend of musicality, neuroscience, and wellness advocacy, she’s helping shape a more conscious and connected future for the global dance floor. In the words of Roland Clark, “All we can do is rejoice, all we can do is live, all we can do is love.”
