Now at the helm of his own Dark Side Of The Sun imprint, Amsterdam-based favourite Luuk van Dijk has ensured he’s taken the early love and hype following an impressive breakthrough and levelled up even further. Now a regular name on the global circuit, his discography boasts a series of killer EPs on his blossoming label accompanying the release of his impressive debut album project ‘First Contact’, while also stepping out on leading labels such as No Art, Solid Grooves, Hot Creations Microhertz, Shall Not Fade and more. Returning to The Martinez Brothers’ renowned Cuttin’ Headz imprint following his remix of Fleur Shore in 2021, he unveils a bustling three-track package for his EP debut on the label with the excellent ‘Preach’.

A hooky and hypnotic lead effort merging swirling synth melodies and slinking percussion with a reworked vocal sample from Book Of Love’s 1993 ‘Chatterbox Pt. 1’, ‘Preach’ is a playful, groove-driven title track bound to have you replaying its words in your head all night long. Next, ‘The Relapse’ is a funky and vibrant house cut harnessing further high-spirited and energetic vocals with skippy drums loaded full of swing and bright electronics, while ‘I Saw The Future’ provides a heads down, hands up groover combining bustling percussion grooves and bumping low-ends to close the show.
