Copasetic makes his debut up on Steve Lawler’s VIVa LiMITED label with his ‘Well Dread EP’.
The Merseyside based UK rising talent has been making a name for himself releasing on labels including Lost Audio, Clarisse Records, Sura Music with some of the biggest names in electronic music showing support for his sounds including Jamie Jones, Waff, Steve Lawler, Leftwing : Kody, Francisco Allendes, John Summit, Franky Rizardo, Stacey Pullen to name a few and we’re excited to welcome Copasetic to VIVa LiMITED with a killer 4 track EP.
EP Opener, ‘Err’Bodi’ takes us straight to the heart of the dancefloor with its bumping bassline and acid grooves making Copasetic’s intentions clear from the outset. This is an EP made for the floor.
Next on the musical journey, title track ‘Well Dread’ takes us on a groove driven expedition, where we’re resetting after the dancefloor assault that EP opener ‘Err’bodi’ gave us. Minimal grooves and reggae sound-system infused breakdowns lead by bumping minimalism becomes the order of the day followed by ‘Ruff’ which is another certified head bobber permeated with the purest of grooves.
Closing out the EP and bringing the energy up is ‘Babylon’. An absolute floor filler in its own right has us moving and grooving from start to finish. It’s as big as EP close-outs tunes come.
Support for the EP is building with electronic music heavyweights including Skream, Manda Moor, Gene Farris, Franky Rizardo, Francisco Allendes, Syreeta, Hector Couto, Jamie Jones, Chelina Manuhutu, Prok & Fitch and the list goes on all getting behind the music helping bring Copasetic’s latest offering ‘Well Dread EP’ to dancefloors and ravers all around the world.
