As the sun sets on another summer of sell-out shows, Knight launches into club season with her highly anticipated double-track EP, Freak, marking her debut on progressive London label, HE.SHE.THEY. Knight stuns across the EP’s 4-tracks, embracing her love for hi-nrg rave and innovative beats, while taking listeners on a journey of self exploration.
The EP’s A-side opens with ‘Freak’, a pulsating, enticing club track with a message of self-love at its core. As Cole reflects, “the track is about rejecting conformity and embracing your wild, authentic self. It’s dark, sexy and psychedelic, with my voice morphing throughout to reflect the idea that we don’t have to fit into a single mould.”
On the B-side, Cole cranks up the tempo and heat to full tilt for the drenched, perspiring ravers (and athletes) worldwide. ‘PSA’ (Professional Sweat Artist) brings that undeniable energy of “Let’s. F’ing. Go!” with its wide driving techno drums and primal energy, reminding us to live life to its highest potential, while nodding to Cole’s past as a competitive athlete.
