Chambray’s Where You At? EP brings his vibrant basslines, striking percussion, staccato stabs and atmospheric ad-libs to DJ Mag 2018’s “Best Label of North America”, DIRTYBIRD. Drawing influences from techno house, ghetto house, African rhythms, and bossa nova, Chambray’s music speaks with a signature sound that will make you move.
After catching the ear of dance music legend Jimmy Edgar, Chambray signed with the esteemed Ultramajic imprint in 2014 after years working in the fashion industry. Since then, he has performed at Boiler Room Berlin and released tracks independently on Unknown To The Unknown, W&O, Street Tracks, &Friends, and even a well-received single with DIRTYBIRD, “Laurel Em”.
Where You At? seems a fitting progression for the rising icon. This milestone release brings Chambray’s inclusive style to the famed American label, crossing boundaries while appealing to them all.
