Our favorite Polish Tech animals are turning their label backwards and starting a new offshoot with STEP, embracing a more classic, groovy feel while still keeping it edgy. Kicking off the label on January 13th, the duo are calling on the unique style of UK producer A1 Bassline who in the past few years has released diverse sounds on labels such as Southern Fried Records, Dirtybird, Source Unknown and of course Pets Recordings. His most recent EP on Gruuv last fall is upbeat and lush-“Intasound” is a personal favorite.
We cannot wait to see what the Polish duo have in store for us this year, but we have a feeling 20 Salmons Down will start 2014 off on the right foot. ;]
