London-born, Ibiza-based Cameron Jack has quickly become a name on the up, having been championed heavily by Crosstown Rebels’ founder Damian Lazarus, as well as both Blond:ish and Lee Burridge. 2024 saw the up-and-coming DJ/producer share stages with heavyweights such as Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones and DJ Tennis with sets at the likes of Hï Ibiza, Extrema Outdoor, PHAEX Festival, Get Lost Mexico, and fabric London. Having featured on Crosstown’s SPIRITS VA series and adding to music on Knee Deep In Sound, Abracadabra Music, and All Day I Dream, his first EP on Damian Lazarus’ label provides a refined exploration of his late-hours sound.

“‘The Late Shift’ EP is inspired by all that I love on the dancefloor. It is deep, it has groove, and with Liz’s spoken word vocals, it has sex. Rather than big, hands-in-the-air pull-your-phone-out moments, it is all about keeping the energy of the dancefloor rolling. I’m super proud of this EP and how it represents me as an artist at this moment in time. I couldn’t be happier to be releasing it on Crosstown Rebels, a label that I have built such a close bond with over the last few years.” – Cameron Jack.

The EP features two collaborations with singer/songwriter Liz Cass. The opening track, ‘Dusk Till Dawn, ’ pairs deep, rolling grooves with Liz’s seductive spoken words. Move Your Body follows with driving rhythms and infectious energy. On the flip, ‘Get High And Dance’ brings a captivating fusion of rolling percussion grooves, while ‘Won’t You?’ rounds out the EP with another drum-led workout.
