Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE imprint drops its 50th release, with label favourite Bizen Lopez stepping up with a pair of crisp productions across his latest EP ‘How Somebody Feels’.
Launched in 2019, Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s collaborative MÜSE imprint has blossomed into a label regularly supplying essential records in rotation for the genre’s biggest names. Housing material from established talents, including Matthias Tanzmann and Josh Butler, through to some of the scene’s most exciting new names, while also serving as a trusted home for key material from both label co-founders, it’s easy to see why it’s become a go-to stop for many. Reaching its first major milestone, the 50th release arrives in the heart of summer as label manager and A&R Bizen Lopez mans the controls, revealing his ‘How Somebody Feels’ EP to close August.
Title track ‘How Somebody Feels’ showcases that classic MÜSE sound people have come to know and love. A slick, rolling cut made for bustling terraces and vast main rooms in equal measure, it fuses rolling percussion, a zig- zagging bassline and hooky vocal snippets for an impactful track to lock dancers in unison. Injecting a slice of funk with resonant guitar riffs placed amongst more well-crafted drum arrangements and further vocal samples, ‘Shake & Get Down’ is another cut crafted for maximum dancefloor impact – expect to hear these a lot across the late summer months!
