Glaswegian Arielle Free’s meteoric rise in the music industry has seen her blossom from cutting her teeth at Ministry of Sound Radio to becoming BBC Radio 1’s Early Breakfast host, the face of daytime Radio 1 Dance and one of the UK’s leading tastemakers. In addition to being one of the nation’s brightest broadcasting talents, Free is also a respected figure on the club and festival circuit with stand out performances at Printworks, Creamfields, Parklife, Glastonbury, Lovebox and TRNSMT to name a few.

With such powerful dance music creds, it’s easy to see why some refer to her as ‘the Scottish Annie Mac’, however Free is carving a niche in music that is very much her own. Making her producer debut in 2022 with a string of celebrated releases including infectious banger ‘You Can’t Stop Me’ on Eats Everything’s Edible label, Arielle Free is a continuously evolving multifaceted creative force. Now with the launch of Free Your Mind, we can add ‘label boss’ to the growing list of accolades that cement her as one of the most exciting artists in music.

Free Your Mind is a label and club night that focuses on feel-good house with producers from across the dance and electronic spectrum, with future releases already in the pipeline from Jenn Getz & Alfie, Toriah and Tiffany Cornish. Launching the imprint in fine style, Arielle Free treats us to a massive slice of summery disco house with ‘Technicolour Kenny’. Sampling Kenny Loggins 1977 track ‘I Believe In Love’, Free enlists Scissor Sisters icon Jake Shears on vocal duties to create an irresistible hands-in-air banger that will have smiles on faces from Block9 to Ibiza.

‘Technicolour Kenny’ is a track with a story all of its own, rooted in love, joy and new beginnings and is the perfect introduction to the uplifting ethos of the Free Your Mind imprint and essential summer heat from this influential UK talent. Expect plenty more dancefloor fire where this came from throughout 2023 and beyond.

”Technicolor Kenny” is out now!
