“I was in Barcelona for my European tour with just my headphones when I started working on this EP. I felt that the simplicity of my studio setup gave me another perspective and workflow, making me go for more raw and organic stuff combined with my usual Latin, percussion-focused style. I’m so happy with the result. For me, these ‘Tired of Loving’ & ‘One Bad Bix’ tracks meant showcasing my disco/housey influences with a modern touch.” – Jay De Lys.
‘Tired Of Loving’ is a vibrant production merging rolling drums with a funky bassline and soulful vocals, while ‘One Bad Bix’ dives into a web of intricate percussion grooves before silky smooth melodies emerge alongside hooky vocal samples.
