Despite the title, Andre Lodemann seems anything but uncomfortable. With his latest release coming from the Innervisions camp, the German continues to expand his already sprawling and impressive catalog.
‘Leaving the Comfort Zone ‘ is a deep and technical release, pushing and tugging on the track’s energy levels, inhaling and exhaling the tension much like a set of lungs. Flashing guitar riffs lend hands to an electrified ambiance that do an amazing job at grabbing the listeners attention and taking them along for the ride. Quivering percussion and ghostly cries highlight the second track ‘ Between the Notes ‘, once again restricting the intensity, waiting for just the right moments to release.
