Adana Twins add their own spin to Nelly Furtado’s classic ‘Say It Right’

The German duo deliver an epic club focused version

Adana Twins have been serving up their fresh and club-ready house sounds for many years. From deep to tech to vocal, they have plenty of range and always bring a retrofuture twist to releases on labels like Watergate, Afterlife, Kompakt, Innervisions and their own TAU imprint. They now show a different side with this spin on a catchy pop classic, a version that has long been in their bag, originally done as a reedit for their own sets, and now seeing a full release from Furtado’s label.

For this brilliant remix, they drop in their signature bassline with layers of smart percussion. The vocal brings spine-tingling emotion to the breakdown while sweeping synths build the drama, and the track kicks off again with overflowing melodic energy. It’s a lush cut that brings grand emotion to the dance floor.
