Opening the stable doors a little wider, My Favorite Robot welcome in highly respected French producer Tomas More for a single of quality electro techno backed with remixes from Sid Le Rock and label bosses My Favorite Robot… Tomas More has been an emerging talent for some time now, bringing his own twisted take on electronic music to bear through his experiences in the UK and French Dance music scenes. Releases for label’s such as Magda’s Items & Things, Ivan Smagghe & Chloe’s Kill The Dj, Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondent and his homebase Get The Curse Music have built him a strong following, whilst his London & Parisian DJ residencies have made sure his sound has made it firmly to the centre of the dance floor. Now the highly respected DJ/Producer teams up with the label on everyone’s lips right now, the ever-excellent My Favorite Robot Records.

His debut single for the Robot’s label opens with title track ‘The Day I Spoke’ a dark edged and druggy affair that marries looped vocal chants with brooding synth lines to superb effect. The second original track comes in the shape of ‘The Omen’, a pulsing and wonky electronic workout that brings together the twisted and the uplifting in a near perfect fusion of deep House excellence. The remixes see two versions of ‘The Day I Spoke’, the first offered up by messrs Teej, Simms & Korab AKA My Favorite Robot who deliver a bright and stirring mix that has a spacious atmosphere and a touch of acidic action to clinch the deal. The second is turned in by label favorite Sid Le Rock who journeys rolling dance floor territory with his richly layered and perfectly mixed slice of melodic electro techno. More excellence from the MFRR imprint and a wonderful addition to the roster with the highly talented Tomas More, enjoy!
