As the first Mexican act to enter the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2019, esteemed duo Tom & Collins get set to take their journey to the next level with their first single of 2020 Sombrerito via Gorgon City’s Realm label.
With releases last year on the likes of UMG / Afterclv, Deux Trois whilst performing at the likes of EDC Mexico, Beyond Wonderland, Wish Outdoor, Festival Vaiven, The Egg London and more, Tom & Collins are a name swiftly rising beyond their Mexico native.
Turning heads beyond South America, Tom & Collins have graced stages and earned support from DJ heavyweights including Duke Dumont, Hot Since 82, Roger Sanchez, Art Department and many others.
Now capturing the attention of esteemed artists Gorgon City, Tom & Collins earn the fellow duo’s seal of approval marking their debut release on the esteemed Realm imprint plus widespread recognition. Drawing on the influence of their Latin American hometown, Tom & Collin’s Sombrerito draws on exotic tones and tribal top lines that are destined to inject irresistible groove onto the dancefloor. Paying homage to Mexico in this Sombrerito release, Tom & Collins’ signature sound is poised to become a global club staple this season.
