A rising name within the world of house, Timmy P’s journey has seen the UK producer and DJ gain plaudits from a host of the scene’s biggest names including Archie Hamilton, Seb Zito and Secondcity to name just a few. Following releases on labels including Strictly Rhythm, Too Many Rules, and ORIGINS RCRDS, October welcomed a debut on James Dexter’s London-based Inermu imprint as he revealed his latest EP ‘Weirdy Beardy’.

Following the release, we asked Timmy to give us a selection of cuts that reflected the EP as he delivers his ‘Darker Side Of Deep’ playlist.

Timmy P – Dr. Hugo [Inermu]
My latest release on James Dexters Inermu. This is the B side, a more straight-up deep cut.

Wadsworth – Lime & Pink [One Records]
This was incredible when it came out and still is. Hard to find a tune as tough as this – oozes attitude.

Nikola Gala – Oasy [Claap]
I’ve been playing this for years and feels it fits in so many sets. Incredible vocal work.

Agnes – You Did Naughty? [Hudd Traxx]
Agnes is such a talent, this is one of my favourites of his. Really cool tune – great vocals and awesome synth work.

Earth Trax & Newborn Jr. – Truth (Back Alley Mix) [Phonica]
Really cool synth work in this one, it develops really well and has a wicked groove.

A1 Bassline – Why Do You [Dirtybird]
Not heard much like this – very much early Dirtybird, wicked groover with some decent pace on it.

Alex Celler – The Grooveseeker [Brouqade]
So so so tough – love the bass. Works really well on deeper floors as well as the tougher peak sets.

Beesmunt Soundsystem – Rachel Starr (Original Mix) [Soweso]
I remember watching Loco Dice play this at Awakenings 2013 – was in love with it ever since. The snares are too much!

Cavalier – Kaimanawa [Drumpoet Community]
Agnes had another alias Cavalier – The synths in this are incredible, keeps the tune so interesting – stupidly memorable.

Timmy P – Weirdy Beardy [Inermu]
The lead track in my EP on Inermu. It was really fun making this and hope you guys enjoy the weirdness as much as I do!

Timmy P ‘Weirdy Beardy’ is out now on Inermu, buy here.
