In celebration of Miami Music Week 2018, Sola Records have collated a 15-track compilation of heavy-hitting heaters, from a wealth of old and new blood. Solardo’s clean and sharp, yet impactful style resonates throughout their Sola imprint and, incidentally, the new LP to boot. Sola Miami 2018 sits comfortably under the banner of “Banging Tech House”, while each track draws from the far corners of techno, chicago house, hip-hop and even 90s R&B.

The compilation kicks off with Solardo themselves, alongside tech house wizard Wade onE verybody. Dutch duo ANOTR add gas to the flame with Waddup, as Eli Brown & MANT take us back to 90s warehouse raves with Feel Good. Del-30, Mason Maynard and Will Clarke each follow with their own punchy offerings You Won’t Regret, Ladyboys and No No No, respectively. Rich Wakley’s Work For Love, Rafa Barrios’ Slammer and Will Easton’s Technic will quench your thirst for techno – making for a well-rounded package of summer hits.

If there’s one thing every playlist needs, it’s a dash of acid, and Manuel de la Mare steps up to fulfill this need with epic finesse. C.O.Z., Davina Moss and Tim Baresko add some saucy basslines to the melting pot with On Fire, The Cruise and C’est Ca La Vie. To conclude the LP, none other than Reblok and Mason Collective bring their A-game with absolute stompers, Cirkular and Wednesday Dance.
