Skream’s IFEEL continues its stellar run of form this October, as the label gears up for its latest release Sad Days. On remix duty this time is fast-rising Irish talent and recent UTTUs Hot Haus label debutant, DART.

Emotionally-charged with clear breakbeat influences, Skream’s Sad Days takes us on a journey through resonant percussion and poignant synth solos. The seven minute cut draws on staggered breakdowns to create a feeling of tension, whilst stirring chords march on in the background. DART’s remix soon arrives, ratcheting up the tempo with driving kick-hat combos and a hard-edged underlying bassline to form a punchy, late-night number.

From producing to deejaying and right the way through to running multiple successful labels, Skream’s innate musical know-how has made him one of the scene’s most-esteemed artists. His latest label incarnation, IFEEL, lets him release anything and everything that he wants to genre wise with no restriction at all, evidenced by the remixers who have appeared on the releases so far – whether it be the industrial sounds of Minimal Violence or the glitchy, trance tones of Maruwa.

Cutting his teeth as a resident of Dublin’s Hangar, Jordan Rafferty AKA DART is no stranger to producing quality dance music. Shall Not Fade, Homage Records, Sasha’s Last Night On Earth and Hot Haus Records are just a few examples of label’s he’s released on in recent times, whilst performances across the likes of Boiler Room, AVA and Ireland’s iconic District 8 have helped propel him into the global spotlight.
