Reminiscent of Rick’s famous ‘Night Series’ this debut on Hold Youth is not only a major coup for the label but a testament to the legendary producers’ unrelenting quality. A pair of solid, fresh touch remixes come from label owners Le Loup & Seuil aka Hold Youth and fellow Parisian S3A.
The A-side title track kicks off with dark keys winding through a thumping bassline and sultry horns, while ‘Enter Dawn’ plunges deep into an ocean of warm pads and hypnotic bass. As with a lot of deep, quality house music, the beauty lies in the the simplicity and Rick Wade is one of the true masters.
Flip over to the B-side for the obscure sounds of Hold Youth’s modern rework of Night Addiction, plus S3A’s disco-house interpretation, full of funky sampling that will ignite the dancefloor.
