After a fine first volume, Whippin Records serve up a second volume of heaters under the ‘Whippin Heat‘ title.
There are many great tunes to choose from here right from the off thanks to Mason Collective & Joseph Edmund. Then, AJ Christou makes the same great impression he always does of late, with slinky hi hats and jungle breaks. Lil Popz is a tune with great attitude from Close to Custom, who’s mastered metallic textures and punchy kicks. Nightcap from Late Delivery brings a mix of sultry sax lines and super turbo charged beats and Sosa Baby then has a more stripped back and minimal vibe but still with real character. The closer is a nice meaty one with Like This having oily bass and tight drums from Tyron Amory.
This is pure dance floor fire for those who know.
