Review – ITAI ‘Unfinished 01 – Re-birth’ (The Teddy Bear Lounge)

ITAI lands on The Teddy Bear Lounge with the label’s first new release. The unfinished project is a musical series that includes his take on sound from the past year and also comes with unique artworks.

A Beatport chart climber and someone who grew up in the middle east, ITAI has a richly cultured sound as proven many times before. He does the same again here with Re-Birth (Aka the Pain), a five minute meditation with gorgeous piano keys and lush percussion as well as intoxicating instrumental leads. Down By The River is a lush and deep cut with more tender chords, this time with snaking synths and mystic pads all elevating the atmosphere.

These are two terrific new cuts.
