Mitch DodgeTaiwan’s very own Take Note are set to drop their first release of 2024 “Go For It”, landing on February 16tgh under their own 96 Decrees label. Hailing from Taipei city, Take Note are one of the hottest artists to emerge from one of Asia’s burgeoning hotspots for underground electronic dance music. After their debut record “The Lord’s House” dropped back in 2023, Take Note have gone form strength to strength releasing club focused bangers on reputable labels such as Rollerblaster Records, Top Shelf Disco, Gold Digger Records and Slack Manoeuvres.
From being resident DJs at WAVE Taipei, a venure voted DJ Mags 34th Top Cloud in the world, to performances at Ultra Taiwan, features in Mixmag Asia, 1001Tracklists and Beatport and
much more, Take Note are one act who are making a lot of noise in their scene right now.
With their last release “The Soul” scoring swathes of support from some of the biggest DJs in the game right now, including Eats Everything, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, Sidepiece, AC Slater and Martin Ikin to name a few, Take Note are taking Taiwan to the global stage. Their newest release “Go For It” is one that’s keeping in with the duo’s high energy, Tech House style productions, riding on the hype from previous releases whilst throwing in a fresh direction on their sound. Sampling a 1980’s styled home workout routine vocal onto a toughened-up Electronica / Tech House sound creating an all-out dance floor workout that’ll keep ravers moving and grooving all night long.
