Leo Janeiro is back, this time with an EP as hot as the Rio de Janeiro sun and as refreshing as coconut water by the beach, standing as his first studio work in 2021. An old acquaintance of Brazilian and even international clubbers — since he has been active since the late 90s — he was responsible for countless nights throughout Brazil, performing at major clubs in the country, such as Warung Beach Club and D-Edge, to renowned festivals like Rock in Rio, Tomorrowland and Universo Paralello. However, music production is not aside. Leo occasionally focuses on the studio to create, always bringing something that reflects a little bit of his essence and experiences of many years running dance floors. And that is exactly what he shows in Joatinga EP, with two original tracks. “Joatinga” reveals warm synthesizers and percussive elements for you to bathe in Rio’s beautiful beaches, especially in Joatinga. While “Moonlight Disko” serves as a perfect soundtrack to dance in the moonlight and forget the time, referring to the nostalgia of enjoying the dancefloor without fear of being happy.
