Mitch DodgeLeon and his increasingly popular imprint Futura, bring the up and coming talents in the UK’s Jamie Fielding to the label with a powerful and dark edged three tracker titled ‘Berm on Them EP’.
In just a few years Jamie Fielding has been making a name for himself in the scene with his brand of stripped back, powerful yet elegant sonics with his music appearing on formidable labels such as Solid Grooves, Hottrax, Revival NYC and Coco and more. His music has consistently found its way into the sets of prominent artists such as Jamie, Jones, Detlef, Solardo, Pawsa and more, showing why this stock is constantly rising in the scene.
For his release on Futura Fielding drops a fire three tracker and first out of the box is ‘It’s Obvious’. This is a deep and subtle minimal roller with tripped out sounds meandering through the track. This is a track for those with a discerning ear and those who like things truly underground.
Next up is ‘Berm Berm Bitch’ where Fielding drops a bass heavy beast with a gnarly dirty edge to it that is one is perfect for a proper naughty warehouse rave.
To round off this strong EP Jamie Fielding drops ‘Shake It Off’ which has a strong bassline groove, and stripped back beats and well placed samples, which finds itself between the styles of the other two tracks on the EP. It’s a great track to finish off this avant-garde release, an EP of high quality that will sure to be doing damage to the dance floor for many a month to come.
