Newest single is the title track of Paul Van Dyk’s upcoming album, ‘Guiding Light’, out August 28th on Vandit Records

The newest single and title track from Paul Van Dyk’s upcoming album, ‘Guiding Light’ is here. The track features vocals from Sue McLaren, a frequent collaborator of PvD also seen on three tracks from his recent ‘Escape Reality‘ project: ‘Guardian’, ‘Lights’ and ‘Sun After Heartbreak’. Her beautifully emotional voice works perfectly with PvD’s hopeful, midtempo trance style to provide a favorable representation of the forthcoming album.

‘Guiding Light’ had been slated for an April release but due to the unfortunate circumstances brought upon by the pandemic the release was pushed back. However, a late summer release has been confirmed for the album and it will be released via Vandit Records on August 28th. The album includes 14 tracks with a number of exciting collaborations (track list shown below).

In regard to the move, Paul commented: “The circumstances in which we danced so far this year have been different, but crucially we never stopped dancing. Guiding Light’s message was always about showing us a way through and I don’t believe there’ll ever be a greater need for that than now. The album’s singles have shown their power to spiritually uplift – as much off the floors as on, so it’s time to let the rest of the music do the same.”

‘Guiding Light’ is available for pre-order HERE. PvD is set to live-premiere further tracks from it at Gem Fest in Zakynthos over the weekend of August 7-10th. In the run up to its release, new music will also be unveiled through his Sunday Session broadcast stream and VONYC Sessions radio show.
