PAAX (tulum) are Argentinian artists based in Mexico and they are Do Not Sit on the Furniture party regulars. Now they step up with their own sick EP on the label of the same name.
Atacama opens up with gentle rolling beats and dreamy pads as well as enchanting vocals. Ojos Negros is just as deep, soft and succulent with its majestic instrumentals and rolling drums and Lugar De Dioses is a beautiful deep house number with shakers, pan pipes and rubbery kicks. After the more percussive and upbeat Distancias, which has a jungle tribal feel, Celaia finishes on a high with busy hits and vocal chants all layered over driving house beats. Once again here Do Not Sit on the Furniture comes beautifully correct.
