[New Release] Chmara Winter (Bartłomiej Chmara and Krzysztof Winter) deliver something very special with freshly released ‘Powidlo’ EP on Catz ‘n Dogz label, Pets Recordings. Every so often, we come across a track or release that transcends the heavy genre boundaries and touches a wider than usual audience of electronic music lovers. That is the case with this EP. I suppose it was no accident coming across this track, as we follow closely what the Pets Recordings crew put out. We call what they do: consistently on point. Labels, get the notes from class from these guys. Lavishly garnering praise from a wide spread of producers and djs, this release strongly commands attention. The vocal pitching and the melody together with the subtle and crisp percussion pull you in deep. The original is for me, but the remix duties have been fulfilled well and are the pick of many as the standouts from the EP. Artists Lee Jones and Marcin Czubala can stand tall with their remixes in hand. Well done indeed. Pick this one up, its one you will go back to again and again.
