PLY is a brand new label from Mr.Morek, which intends to become a stable for a wide range of house and techno sounds. The boss man himself is up first, with three tracks of techno.
Amperage kicks off with big kicks, metallic drums and some frazzled, dystopian synth lines all wrapping round the beats. It’s edgy stuff for tense moments in the night. Back to Basics is a more laid back number that takes you on a trip to the cosmos with its rolling keys and chords. Electric Frequency is a dark and futuristic number with sonar blips and sci-fi sounds over the driving deep techno drums. Its a cinematic track and fantastic way to end a strong fist EP.
