Mancini is doing a superb job of turning heads with his hedZup label. Now he’s back with three more killers and a remix from Per Hammar that makes it an essential outing.

First out of the blocks is Distress, a jittery late night house cut with rubbery bass and cinematic sci-fi details. It’s cool and atmospheric to say the least. Helluva gets more gritty, with a tightly woven drum and bass combo that makes you want to shake your limbs loose. Bundala keeps up the punchy contemporary house programming and sets off on a journey to the edge of the cosmos. It’s widescreen and lush in all the right ways. Helluva (Per Hammar Remix) is a heady techno version with heavy dub vibes and takes you on a real trip. Another strong EP overall.
