Kicking things off in 2015 is Clouds Above’s debut release coming from the Los Angeles based duo Low Tide. These guys have been making waves recently having already been signed to labels such as Motek and Dilate. Low Tide’s EP starts off with their original track Apothic which stands out because of their refreshing sound in production that takes you on a hypnotic ride with its different layers and eerie vocals leaving you wanting more.

First up on remix duties are the popular Mexican duo Balcazar & Sordo, who deliver a killer remix by turning this track into a deeper vibe by using some of the original synths and perfectly turning them into their own unique style. Next up is London producer and YouAreWe’s very own Ashley Wild, who brings a great remix to this release by putting his own stamp on things and doing what he does best with some nice layers and great bass hooks. Finally for the last remix is the label owner Revell who delivers nice rolling levels, growly synths and a melodic spacey feel that constantly grabs you. All 4 tracks on this release offer something different with their own variations in style and production bringing together a great collaboration for Clouds Above’s first EP.
