Ever-evolving UK duo Leftwing : Kody have been at the forefront of the underground for more than a decade. In that time, they have done it all, from taste-making radio shows on KISS FM to hit singles with 40+ million streams, releases on the likes of Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound and Loco Dice’s Desolat, plus Hot Creations, Solid Grooves and many more. Here, the Lost Records bosses work with Cyrpus-born, London-raised artist Raphi, who has written and recorded with heavyweights from label head Patrick Topping to Laidback Luke, on the sure-fire smash single ‘Delirious’.
“Teaming up with Raphi for ‘Delirious’ has been wicked. We have worked with her on numerous projects but once we heard the vocal sample that we wanted to use on this record, we just knew we had to get her involved. After a great session, we cooked up some fresh lyrics to work with the sample, and we had the perfect vibe. Now, it’s ready to drop on Trick, which is a label we have been targeting for a while. Between them, the trio cook up ‘Delirious’, an electrifying cut fusing turbocharged and retro synth stabs, an impassioned vocal from Raphi and raw drums that never let up. It’s proper peak-time perfection that will get hands in the air and unite festival and club crowds all summer and beyond.
