Resurgences is the brand new and stand out album from Klement Bonelli, a French artist who is making global moves. Here he calls upon a host of fine guests for this album which lands on his own label Tinnit Music.
This record is packed with deeply immersive sounds. The tracks are built on rolling, smooth and seductive drums and embellished with deft synth work. The many different vocalists all add their own flavour but never detract from Klement’s signature sound. Deep but detailed, driving yet uplifting, it is fresh as you like right form the opening track Disco Suicide.
From there are many highlights such as the skyward synths and cosmic energy of Ngikhusele, the uplifting vocal style of Thandi Draai on Qina and succulent depths of New Man featuring Klement Bonelli, Mp House Musiq and Angel Msane. Klement then links with ILy for Wonderland, a personal favourite track with real drama and late night moods that never leave you.
There is lots to immerse yourself in here, and all of it is well produced and beautifully emotive.
