atripwith is a new label from Claudio Maura aka Juniper who is also known as Doomwork. This new alias brings a different perspective after super tunes on the likes of Get Physical, Ovum and Cocoon.
Codone is a slow burning seven minute odyssey with rolling, transcendental drums and silky pads all working to get you into a state of meditation. Then it is C2H4, which is a nice heady cut with airy pads and gently tumbling toms. There is a serene feel and plenty of class to this most late night and deep tune. Snares offers something different, with nice gentle broken beats and heady pads, and dubbed out and spacious atmospheres to explore.
On this evidence, Juniper is a fascinating new project.
