Contributing WriterUK RnB star and K-pop songwriter Jeffrey the KiDDD unveils his dazzling debut single ‘Stop It!’, out on Friday 8th September.
Constructing a slick RnB groove around funk guitars, booming bass and Jeffrey the KiDDD’s virtuoso vocals, ‘Stop It!’ is an uptempo bop that oozes with cool. Announcing this up-and-coming artist in style, the track benefits from the craftsmanship of two producers who have big followings on Youtube, Ocean (with a music video for ‘Stop It!’ just published on his channel) and Simon Servida, as well as co-writing from Bobii Lewis, another prolific singer songwriter for K-pop artists.
“The single is about honesty and communication in a ‘non exclusive’ relationship”, the singer songwriter says. “One side has made it clear what their intentions are from the jump, whilst the other is being hopeful for it to go on to be something more concrete; which may never be. All in all it results in being frustrated by saying the same things over and over – hence the title ‘Stop It’.”
Born and raised in London, singer songwriter Jeffrey the KiDDD brings his sultry vocals and tongue-in-cheek lyrics that are bound to leave you with all of the feels. The all around entertainer delivers the 90s/early 00s R&B we love, reimagined in today’s world of music.
With K-pop rising in the Western world of music and culture, Jeffrey the KiDDD has written songs for some of their biggest groups. 2021 saw the release of ‘Miracle’, a song co-written by Jeffrey for popular boy band WayV. The music video has since gained over 8.7 million views on Youtube.
Slated for a 2024 release, Diary of a F*ck Boy is the title of Jeffrey’s first full body of work – a conceptual EP that narrates themes of lust and temptation.
