Miami Vice is track two from the first collaborative EP on Understated Recordings, the three-track, club-ready “Free Bass EP” by itsbilly & and Monoky, due out Monday, November 4th.
Monoky is a resident DJ of Sound, a landmark club in LA’s electronic music scene, and has released on labels like Eric Morillo’s SONDOS and Jamie Jones’ HOT TRAX. itsbilly has spent the past few years cultivating the unique music scene on the west coast, with releases on Worthy’s Anabatic and Hood Politics. With their collaborations, the two have made appearances on record labels like Repopulate Mars, nonstop, and Go Deeva – the duo is about to make a powerful debut on Understated Recordings.
