Next up on Davide Squillace’s label This And That Lab is the fourth in their “Spring Summer Fall Winter” series, which features styles ranging from dark and trippy minimal to jackin house, including tracks from Italoboyz, Durant, Allen(IT), Atsou and Isa Rojas.
Planning to release one edition for each season of the year, there is a focus on textures both audible and visual where each release will be a combination of fresh talents with veteran artists.
First of the four tracks on the EP is from Italian duo Italoboyz featuring Durant. Along with a recent EP on This And That, they have also contributed music to other imprints such as Crosstown Rebels, VIVa MUSiC and their own Superfiction Recordings. Opening the EP in style, their dark and stripped back track “Autobahn” has rubbery synths and trippy vocals amidst other ambient textures.
“Autobahn” is out on June 21st, via This And That Lab.
