The DJ descendent of Pablo Picasso has releases a brand new deep house anthem

French-Vietnamese DJ and producer Florian Picasso returns with his anthemic new single ‘Give me your love’, out 7th July on his brand new label imprint La Californie Musique.

‘Give me your love’ shows off a new side of Florian Picasso, as the revered producer evolves towards a soulful deep house sound. Combining a melodic synth bassline with a passion-fuelled lead vocal line over an uptempo groove, the musical innovator and label head conjures up a surefire summer classic.

Picasso is no stage name: Florian is the great-grandson of the mighty Pablo Picasso. He grew up in Cannes, soaking up the artistic atmosphere of the Villa Californie where he later installed his music studio, just like Pablo did with his painting studio before him. Florian started mixing for fun when he was 13-years-old, his hobby quickly turned into a passion and a couple of years later, Florian decided to completely dedicate himself to music and to carry on the family’s artistic legacy.

He now plays shows all around the world with up to 100 shows a year and some of the biggest festivals like Tomorrowland or Ultra Miami. Florian was included in DJ Mag’s list of top 100 DJs numerous times, reaching a rank of #38 and has collaborated with some of the electronic music industry’s biggest names like Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki as well as some of the finest and most iconic artists such as John Legend and Nas

He recently also paid tribute to his great grandfather in the most artistic and innovative ways at the iconic location, the Picasso Villa, ‘La Californie’. Most importantly, he is writing his own story with his own signature, never limiting his creative mind.

Florian Picasso makes another artistic leap forward with ‘Give me your love, a soulful club anthem timed perfectly for the peak of summer, out 7th July via La Californie Music.
